Stop-motions, shuttle.-Arms 14a 14b in the path of an incorrectly-boxed shuttle are mounted on a shaft 13 on the breast-beam and are normally held in the position shown in Fig. 1 by a give-way connection 16, 17 by a spring-actuated lever 15 held against a stop 27. When one of the arms is engaged by an incorrectly-boxed shuttle, a link 19 connected to the lever 15 and having a pin-andslot connection with a projection on the weft-fork lever 22 is lowered and brings a projection 20 into the path of a projection 8 on the lay. The lever 22 is thus moved to the left and moves the spring handle 4 to stop the loom.
