Abstract
284,876. Steen, J., Maxwell, H. G., and Durham Street Weaving Co., Ltd. March 2, 1927. Shuttles, changing bobbins in, automatically. -In order that ordinary under pick picking mechanism may be used on a loom having automatic mechanism for supplying new bobbins or the like to the shuttles, for example of the kind described in Specification 234,145, a part 2a of the back of the shuttle-box is pivoted at 3<a> to the lay and is adapted to be moved by a projection 4 on the replenishing mechanism to permit the operation of the transferrer 1<a>. Beneath the shuttle is picked, a spring 5 moves the part 2a to complete the back of the shuttle-box as shown in Fig. 4<a> and to afford a guide for the picker.
