Abstract

430,688. Looms for weaving pile fabrics. GUSKEN, J., 3, Rathausplatz, and JANSEN, O., 40, Adolf Hitlerstrasse, both in D³lken, Germany. May 10, 1934, No. 14207. [Class 142 (ii)] The pile wire slide 30 of a loom for weaving plush is reciprocated by moving a pinion 32 on an arm 25 around a stationary toothed wheel 31, the pinion shaft 26 being connected to the slide by pivotally connected links 27, 29. The wheels 31, 32 are in the ratio of 2 : 1 and are operatively connected by a loosely mounted pinion 33 or by a chain. The arm 25 and its supporting shaft 23 are oscillated by eccentrics 14, 15 on the heald operating shaft 1.
