431,540. Wind-deflectors for vehicles. ADAMS, W. J., 251, Liverpool Road, Islington, and ADAMS, C., 30, Upper Tollington Park, Stroud Green, both in London. Aug. 21, 1934, No. 24085. [Class 103 (ii)] A curved draughtdeflector E for preventing flow of air through the aperture formed in the roof of a vehicle when the sliding panel G is opened, is pivoted at its front edge H to the fixed part F of the roof and is connected by a spring- controlled link D, K to a bracket B fixed at the front edge of the roof-opening, so that when the sliding panel is opened the spring, incorporated in the hinge A, straightens the link to move the deflector to operative position while, when the panel is closed, its front edge abuts an extension C of the link causing the link to fold and the deflector to be moved to its inoperative position.
