740,042. Vehicle side screens. WALCOTT, W. P. March 23, 1954 [March 26, 1953], No. 8475/54. Class 20(3). A transparent detachable side screen A is of less height than the window opening in the car &c. door so that when the window is lowered and the screen is clipped in position in the top of the opening there is a gap F below the bottom of the screen through which the driver may project his arm for signalling &c. The bottom of the screen is in the form of an outwardly-projecting shelf G and a flap J may be provided at the front end of the shelf integral therewith or pivoted thereto or, as shown, bolted thereto.
