1,007,883. Window guards. WALTHAM HOLDINGS Ltd. June 9, 1964 [June 10, 1963], No. 23857/64. Heading E1J. A removable window guard particularly for a vehicle sliding window frame comprises a laterally rigid body portion T depressible in a vertical direction and formed as an elongated element with indented side sections 5, an L-shaped bracket 10 with sponge rubber lining 13 to rest on the frame 16 and the limb 12 disposed in the space below the window opening entered by the pane 17 on opening so as to allow in the presence of the guard free sliding movement of the panel 17 and one or more Z-shaped lugs 6 integral with the top of the body portion 1 and adapted to seat in the channel 21 at the top of the opening.
