335,743. Suddards, T. D. Oct. 2, 1929. Addition to 320,529. Ventilating closed vehicles.- In a ventilator for closed motor cars and the like comprising a louvre D adapted to be secured in the aperture usually occupied by the rear window, and an associated deflector plate B within the vehicle, there is provided a hinged flap C for controlling the opening at the upper end of the deflector plate. The flap C is preferably mounted to move stiffly, or may be provided with locking means. The louvre, flaps may be movable and connected for simultaneous operation as by a member F and may be operatively connected with the flap C for adjustment from, within the vehicle by cables or the like. In a further modification the flap C is pivoted about its longitudinal axis.
