Abstract
249,810. Fisher Body Corporation, (Assignees of Simpson, E. G.). March 26, 1925, [Convention date]. Ventilators.-In order to form a watertight closure at the lower edge of a vertically adjustable vehicle wind-screen e, the lower edge is left free or unframed and is adapted in its lower position to seat on a soft rubber or like strip m mounted on the wind-screen sill a. In the raised position the screen permits a draught to pass over the sill into a trough b which serves as a foot ventilator and at the same time the lower edge of the screen offers no obstruction to the line of vision of the driver. Adjustment of the screen is effected by any suitable mechanism, the upper edge of the screen entering a pocket or header in the fixed hood.
