Abstract

An antiager comprises a diarylamine together with a diaryl-p-phenylenediamine. The two may be prepared as a mixture as for example by heating aniline, p-aminophenol and diphenylamine with hydrochloric acid, the resultant reaction producing a mixture of approximately 75 per cent diphenylamine and 25 per cent diphenyl-p-phenylenediamine.ALSO:An antiager comprises a diarylamine together with a diaryl p phenylene diamine. The two may be fused together or added singly or in admixture to the mix, or they may be prepared directly as a mixture as for example by heating aniline, p aminophenol and diphenylamine with hydrochloric acid, the resultant reaction producing a mixture of approximately 75 per cent diphenylamine and 25 per cent diphenyl p phenylene diamine. The result of tests showing that the mixture has a higher activity than the average of the activities of the two components is given. Other compounds falling within the term "aryl" are enumerated.
