Abstract
513,244. Erucayl-K-acid ; cyanuric compounds. I.G. FARBENINDUSTRIE AKT.-GES. April 5, 1938, No. 10410. Convention date, April 9, 1937. [Class 2 (iii)] [Also in Group XX] Erucayl- K-acid is formed by reacting excess of erucayl acid chloride with 1: 8-aminonaphthol-4 : 6-disulphonic acid in the presence of an acid-binding agent, e.g. pyridine. Specification 387,197 is referred to. Cyanuric compounds, of which a list of examples is given, are prepared by reacting cyanuric chloride with diamines, nitroamines or nitrophenols, replacing at least one chlorine atom by -SH, and, if necessary, reducing the nitro group to -NH2.
