Abstract
429,903. Supply meters. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London. Feb. 22, 1935, No. 5731. Convention date, Feb. 23, 1934. [Class 37] An electric tariff meter is so arranged that when the current rises above a certain value a controlling circuit causes the meter to register at a different tariff, and if the current rises above a certain higher value the circuit is disconnected. For this purpose a bimetallic strip f is arranged to close the controlling circuit of the meter a through a contact g, and a second bimetallic strip h to release a switch i through a pawl k.
