[Class 106 (iii)] A toy ticket-punch has a slidable punch, registering mechanism and a bell actuated by a lever having a toothed sector engaging a toothed rack on a slide carrying the punch. The ticket punch comprises a punch 7 secured to a spring controlled slide 8 having rack 8<a> engaging with toothed sector 9<a> on an actuating lever 9 pivoted on pin 10 passing through. the face of the carrier frame 6. A spring wire pawl 13 is fixed to the lever 9 and actuates the numbered ratchet disc 11 pivoted on the pin 10, the disc being retained in its actuated position by a detent spring wire 14 fixed to the back of the carrier 6 and passing through a slot 15 to engage the ratchet disc. An indicator disc 12 is positioned in front of the disc 11 and a bent back projection or a pin 16 on such disc engages a hole in the lever 9 for the disc 12 to be oscillated with the lever. A bell 17 is fixed on a carrier frame 18 forming a guide for the punch slide 8 at 18<a> and having a laterally projecting lug 18b to which is fixed a wire spring arm 20 carrying the striker 21, the arm 20 being carried forward by a projection 22 on the punch slide 8 to ride over the inclined edge portion 23 of the upturned end 18d of the lug 18b to ultimately spring back and strike the bell. The punch die comprises a sheet metal member 26 bent to form a recess 28 to take the piercings which can pass through a hole 31. The back plate 25 of the punch casing 4 has a ticket holder 32 fixed to it and has slots 33 to receive a shoulder strap.
