Abstract
473,169. Kinematograph apparatus. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. Dec. 28, 1936, No. 35531. Convention date, Jan. 4. [Class 97 (i)] An intermediate member acts between a claw feed member and a film registering member only so long as is necessary to withdraw the registering member from a perforation and to move the perforation out of register with it ; the registering member moves into the next perforation independently of the feed member. As shown, a claw arm 1, driven by a crank 2 and guided by a pin 3 in an arcuate slot 4, is formed with a lateral projection 5 carrying a claw 6. In the position shown, the claw 6 is about to enter a perforation in the film 17, and the engagement between the projection 5 and a surface 13 on one arm of an intermediate member 11, pivoted at 12, holds the member 11 in a tilted position until the projection 5 slides over the surface 13a and permits the member 11 gradually to resume the position shown. The other arm of the member 11 is offset at its end 11a to extend beneath a bent portion of a registering member 8 carrying a registering pin 8a and mounted on a leaf spring 9 secured at one end 10. The member 11, when tilted, lifts the pin 8a out of the film perforation as the claw 6 enters it, and the spring 9, when the projection 5 has disengaged the member 11, holds the pin 8a in engagement with the film so that it enters the next perforation as soon as the perforation is in position. A sliding shutter 20 may be driven by a crank 21 through a rod 22.
