[Class 14 (i)] [See also Group II] A device for beating cream or the like by means of compressed air comprises a vessel 9 for the cream having a false bottom 10 formed with inclined holes 11. Air under pressure is supplied to the chamber 8 beneath the bottom 10 from a pressure chamber 5 which is charged by a pump 3 driven by a motor 2. Air enters the chamber 8 through a non-return valve 7, which may be adjustable for varying the supply of air. The latter may be charged with liquid or gaseous flavouring media, by suction nozzles or otherwise. The motor, &c. is housed in a casing 1 serving as a support for the vessel 9. In a modification, the pump 3 is driven by a hand crank, and an air purifier may be provided.
