Abstract

382,972. Whipping cream. ROUSH, L., 620, 3rd Street, Beaver, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Aug. 17, 1931, No. 23164. [Class 86.] Cream is whipped by forcing air through a porous body into a mass of the material ; the cream may be gently stirred during the process. The cream is contained in a vessel 1 provided with a porous plug 2 and fitting on to a casing 3 containing an air compressor 14, the air being led into a chamber 4 beneath the plug. The vessel is held in position by means of catches 9 and can be removed for emptying ; the cream is stirred by a hand stirrer 25. In another form, the porous body, fitted with a central plug, is held against a peripheral gasket in a pailshaped container fitting on the housing for the container. The lower part of the plug is bored to form an air passage and is surrounded by a rubber gasket.
