Abstract
426,727. Condensers. FEDERAL TELEGRAPH CO., 200, Mount Pleasant Avenue, Newark, New Jersey, U.S.A.-(Assignees of Kolster, F. A.; 111, E. 48th Street, New York, U.S.A.) Oct. 9, 1933, No. 27765. Convention date, Oct. 12, 1932. [Class 38 (ii)] [See also Groups XL and XXXVI] A tuned circuit comprises a tube or rod 1, Fig. 2, acting as an inductance, and two spaced plates 4 connected to and physically supported by the tube 1 and forming a condenser. Preferably the condenser elements 4 are adjustable along the tube 1 and are dome-shaped to shield the tube. Apertures 12, 13 permit leads to be connected across a portion only of the inductance. In a modification, one plate 4<1>, Fig. 3, is flat. U.S.A. Specification 1,828,706 is referred to.
