[Classes 66 and 94 (i)] A carton 1, for instance of waxed cardboard, has a thread, wire, or other filament 2, serving as an opening means, stitched in the wall, the free end being attached to a tab 4 which is allowed to project through the wrapper or label 5 so that wrapper and carton are both torn open by pulling on the tab. The carton is provided with metal ends 3 of dished form.
