Abstract

456,606. Cartons. PEEK FREAN & CO., Ltd., and RONDOLIN, L., Keeton's Road, Bermondsey, London. Aug. 22, 1935, No. 23600. [Classes 18 and 66] A carton for foodstuffs, e.g. biscuits, is adapted to be severed into two parts which constitute a drawer- and - shell container. An inner receptacle is made from the blank shown in Fig. 3 and this is enclosed in a container 5, Fig. 2, adapted to be ripped by a row of stitching extending around it near one end. The outer container may be water-proof and may have metal end caps 7, one of which may serve to secure the inner receptacle, or one end may be similar to the end 6 of the inner container. A flap 9 may be provided on the inner receptacle which covers the line of stitching on the open face of the inner receptacle. Specification 426,586 is referred to.
