[Class 40 (v)] In an amplifying arrangement using a plurality of tuned circuits with waveband switching, a condenser C is arranged in series with the switch contacts in one of the circuits so that this circuit is slightly detuned when operating on the shorter wave band. The tuning of the receiver is thus widened to avoid loss of high tones on this band.
