Thermionic amplifiers; filter circuits.-A filter comprises a plurality of piezo-electric crystals and impedances co-operating therewith so arranged as to produce a flat transmission characteristic and a sharp cut-off. The Figure shows the application to the input of a valve V of a filter tunable to three frequency bands by switches S1, S2. In a modification (Fig. 3, not shown) a similar filter is employed after the intermediate-frequency amplifier of a supersonic heterodyne receiver.
