Abstract

418,961. Spectacles &c. BOCK, F., 36, Spandauerstrasse, Charlottenburg, Berlin. May 5, 1934, No. 13653. Convention date, May 10, 1933. [Class 97 (i).] The bridge 2 of a spectacle &c. frame carries a pivoted member 4 having downwardly extending ends 3 constituting rests which bear on the sides of the nose so that when the spectacles are placed in position the rests freely adjust themselves to the nose. When adjusted the rests can be secured by screws 7 passing through curved slots 6 in the bridge 2 and engaging in the member 4. A member 8 adapted to bear on the bridge of the nose may also be attached to the bridge 2 so as to be adjustable about the pivot axis 6 of the member 4; the member 8 being formed with a ball 12 seating partly in the member 4 and partly in the bridge 2. Pads 10, 13 may be provided on the members 3, 8 respectively.
