394,570. Spectacles. KAPERNICK, G. F., 47, Kaiserstrasse, Frankfort-on-Main, Germany. Nov. 17, 1932, No. 32510. Convention date, Nov. 17, 1931. [Class 97 (i).] A hinge for attaching a side to a spectacle frame is provided with sleeves or rings for guiding the side and a screw for fixing the latter, the side being displaceable within the hinge member in a direction at right angles to the plane of the lenses, to enable the frame to be fitted to the wearer. In the form shown, the member 4 of the hinge 3 is screwed to the frame 1 and the member 6 is formed with rings 7 through which the side 2 can slide for adjustment of its length. After adjustment the side is secured by a screw 9.
