667,640. Sun-glasses. NORDEX, Ltd. April 27, 1950 [March 14, 1950], No. 6331/50. Class 97 (i). A pair of sun-glasses comprises a frame 1 with hingedly connected ear-pieces 4, 5, a bridge 10a for the nose, and flexible eye-pieces 14, 15 hingedly mounted in the frame on short lugs or pins 10, 11, 12, 13 engaging in recesses or holes in the side edges of the eyepieces so that the latter may be swung as indicated. Alternalively the short lugs or pins may be provided on the side edges of the eye-pieces and engage in recesses or holes in the frame. The eyepieces are of transparent coloured material and have thickened edge portions. They may be slightly wider than the eyepiece openings in the frame so that they are flexed when mounted, thereby being maintained in any angular position to which they are adjusted.
