Goggles; spectacle lenses. -The lenses of spectacles &c. have approximately threefourths of their surfaces scored with lines d to obscure strong rays of light, leaving a plain, clear or cut away portion c situated centrally through which ordinary vision may be obtained. The lines may be tinted or coloured at the obscured portions or may comprise screens of metal or thread gauze having portions cut away for clear vision.
