416,177. Flexible shaft - couplings. USKSIDE ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., and WOOD, J. W., Uskside Iron Works, Newport, Monmouthshire. Aug. 16, 1933, No. 22926. [Class 80 (ii).] A flexible shaft coupling comprise: axial helical springs 7 in flared bores in coupling-flanges 1 2, the bores being closed at thei outer ends by separate screwed plugs, or by : single ring 8, or part of a ring, secured by screws to the flange. The springs can thus be removed with the flanges in place on their shafts.
