549,858. Universal joints. MUIRHEAD & CO., Ltd., and LISTER, W. C. June 17, 1941, No. 7656. [Class 80 (ii)] U-shaped spring elements 1, 1a, Figs. 1 and 2, relatively positioned at 90 degrees apart, are connected by collars to the ends of spindles 11, 11a to be coupled, the elements being of such section as to bend easily in the plane of the U, and the ends of the elements being secured to a common connecting member 2.
