[Class 69 (iii).] A nozzle from which water issues as a horizontal screen comprises a hollow sleeve 6 threaded to screw into a conduit 5 and provided with a spreading disc 11 having a convex lower face which is screwed on the end of a spindle 9, the lower end of which is rigidly connected by a member 10 to the sleeve 6. The quantity and spread of water is regulated by adjusting the disc 11 and fixing it by a locking nut 12.
