Abstract
415,095. Buckets &c. RENDLE, V., Burt Hill, Great Clacton, Essex. Feb. 14, 1933, No. 4547. [Class 66.] In a bucket, bin &c. provided with a handle 14 engaging grommets or bushings 18 of rubber, leather &c. disposed in the openings of the attachment ears or lugs, the ends of the handle are of circular section and are formed as straight portions disposed parallel to the axes of the grommets. The handles proper, or the central portions only, may be provided with rubber or other silencing material. The ends of the handle may be directed inwardly and may be fitted with threaded nuts or other retaining means. Where there is a depending flange on the bottom of the bucket &c., it is fitted with a tyre 24 of silencing material preferably held in place by a securing wire 25 disposed internally or externally of the flange, for example as shown in Fig. 4. Where no flange is present a tyre or bead may be engaged in or over a groove or projection formed in the base or side of the receptacle, for instance as shown in Fig. 8.
