Abstract
410,596. Milk churns, buckets, &c. RENDLE, V., Bull Hill, Great Clacton, Essex. March 24, 1933, No. 8987. [Class 66.] The upper and lower or both rims of a milk churn, bin, bucket, or like vessel are fitted with resilient silencing tyres which are engaged over the rims and are formed with a skirt or bead portion 3 which is gripped between the wall of the vessel and a band 5 attached internally or externally thereto. To exclude moisture therefrom, the joint between the band and the vessel is sealed with solder &c. or the band and vessel are formed integral. The band may have a recessed part 4 to house the bead or the wall of the vessel may be swaged or recessed to receive it.
