413,899. Safety gas cocks. LASSAIGNE, F., 26, Quai Fulchiron, Lyons, France. Oct. 2, 1933, No. 27063. Convention date, Oct. 5, 1932. [Class 135.] A safety valve for a gas-cock, closing automatically on cessation of the fluid flow, comprises a light valve member B immediately surmounted by a plate C and provided on its stem D with a light second plate I of slightly larger size. The gas opens the valve when free, by direct action, and, passing round the first plate, flows under the second plate so that the ascent of the valve is assisted. The catch K is loaded at L and at the automatic closure rocks on to the top of the valve stem D. French Specifications 650,363 and 703,329 are referred to.
