410,835. Ceilings ; flooring ; hollow tiling-blocks. QUICK, A. T. O., Victoria House, Vernon Place, Southampton Row, London. Aug. 23, 1932, No. 17808. [Classes 20 (iv) and 87 (i).] Ceilings, floors, and like surfaces are formed with hollow cavity blocks or tiles provided with a glazed face and lateral projections at this face, such blocks being laid to present a continuous glazed surface and bonded with concrete or the like filling the space between the blocks and overlying them. The blocks a, Fig. 2, are preferably made by extrusion of fireclay and formed with a central partition d and with dovetail recesses i to receive the bonding material which may have known reinforcements j, h. In a modification, the integral lateral flanges are replaced by glazed slabs.
