[Classes 20 (iv) and 87 (i).] Hollow slabs laid between floor joists are formed with a saw-tooth formation on the upper face so that deep ribs are produced in the concrete filling M. The lower face is grooved to key with the ceiling plaster, and the ends E are bevelled and provided with undercut rebates C.
