Abstract

718,778. Building slabs; covering walls externally. WALL, J. P. Jan. 2, 1953 [April 10, 1952], No. 150/53. Classes 20 (4) and 87 (1). [Also in Group V] A concrete facing slab 1 having straight top and bottom faces 3, 4 and correspondingly stepped end faces 5, 6 is formed with a front face moulded to simulate a number of bonded regular or irregular stone pieces. Tongues 7 and grooves 8 may be provided on the top 3 and one end 6 and the bottom 4 and other end 5 respectively. The slabs 1 may be secured to a wall 10 by flexible metal strips 9 engaging between the tongue 7 and groove 8 of adjacent slabs.
