[Class 132 (iii)] Toy building bricks, blocks or slabs have one face 1b, Fig. 1, scored or marked to represent a plurality of smooth or flat faced bricks and an opposite face 1a, Fig. 2, formed with a roughcast surface to represent a stone building block, so that either face may be presented outwards according to the kind of building it is intended to represent. Corner bricks are formed with two adjacent flat or roughcast faces 1a, 1c, Fig. 2. The bricks or slabs are provided with pegs 2 at one side or edge and recesses 3, Fig. 5, in the opposite side to enable them to be secured together. Coping plates 6, Fig. 1, having recesses 5 are provided to accommodate the pegs 2 protruding from the top of the wall. The bricks may be curved or rectangular and arch bricks may take the form shown in Fig. 11. Slabs for use as miniature roof tiles have one face 13b, Fig. 13, representing a flat tile or plurality of flat tiles and the opposite face 13a, Fig. 12, roughened or moulded to represent part of a thatched roof. The roof slabs, in addition to peg and socket engagement members 15, are also provided with tongue and groove engagement members 16, 17. The bricks may be formed from synthetic resins or other material preferably by moulding and they also may be coloured. Opposite faces may be differently coloured.
