[Class 132 (iii)] A ridge unit for a toy roof structure comprises a tile, Fig. 3, moulded from rubber and having a central line of weakness 13 formed by making a wedge-shaped recess in the under surface of the tile, the walls 14 of the recess abutting, Fig. 4, when the roof is assembled to correctly position the sloping surfaces of the roof. The ridge tiles have stepped portions 7 at each end having large headed pegs 8 or recesses for engagement with recesses or pegs of other roof tiles, Figs. 1 and 2. The tiles shown in Figs. 1 and 2 are moulded from rubber with the surface 5 cambered and have stepped portions 6, 7 at each end carrying recesses 9 and large headed pegs 8 respectively. The recesses are formed with beads 10 to retain the large headed pegs 8 of an adjacent tile. The tiles are hollowed out at 11 to effect a saving in material. The ridge units and other tile units may have pegs and cooperating recesses on the sides as well as at the ends. Ridge units may be made to resemble a plurality of the units shown in Fig. 3, but comprising a single moulded unit. The recesses and pegs of adjacent tiles are equally spaced so that the tiles may be arranged in line or imbricated. Half-tile units with only one peg and one recess may be used. The lowermost stepped portions 7<1>, Fig. 4, are sufficiently flexible to permit bending to allow the pegs 8 to engage in recesses in the uppermost bricks of the walls. Alternatively the uppermost bricks of the walls can be formed with inclined upper faces. The roof sections can be braced internally in the case of large roof spans.
