Abstract

365,369. Constructional toys. BROUGHAM, L. E., Brillig, Riddlesdown Avenue, Purley, Surrey. Feb. 16, 1931, No. 4919. [Class 132 (iii).] The invention relates to toy building bricks 1 having interlocking projections and recesses and consists in providing in some of the bricks slots 19, Fig. 3, or 21, Fig. 10, into which either cantilevers 25 or beams or lugs, Fig. 13, for the attachment of other parts, are fixed. Gutters, Fig. 11, may in this way be fixed to a model. The set may also comprise a frame hingedly carrying a door 8, Fig. 4, and having projections 2 and recesses 3 to engage adjacent bricks. Side projections 18 to engage the slots 19 may be provided. The gable end of a model is finished off with bricks 1c having a recess and a groove 12 for tile bearers 13 carrying metal tiles 14.
