Abstract

176,853. Allday, A. D. Dec. 3, 1920. Building-blocks.-Relates to toy building-elements and consists in providing, for use in connection with scale-model bricks, grooved lintels, window sills and door steps, and a roof member. The lintels over doors or windows are formed by wood or clay blocks e, Fig. 4, grooved on the underside to receive a cardboard representation of a window, or a celluloid frame with a transparent filling. Similar members are provided for door lintels and steps. These lintels are treble the length of the standard brick so that they can be built into a wall with the standard bricks. The roof member consists of a corrugated sheet of cardboard m, Fig. 7, pressed with parallel ridges n to represent pantiles, and the apex o is pressed to represent ridge tiles.
