Description

The invention relates to a rock block, especially for toy trains.

Known rock replicas for toy trains are in one piece as a solid body made of hardenable masses, for. B. plaster or made of polymerizable plastics. In addition to the fact that these rock replicas are very weighty, the unchangeability of the known rock replicas also leads to little incentive to play.

It is an object of the invention to provide measures for creating changeable rock replicas.

This object is achieved according to the invention by an irregularly shaped and / or profiled plastic molded part with two support surfaces for adjacent rock blocks, one of which has at least one plug pin and the other has at least one recess or recess for the clamping receptacle of adjacent rock blocks. Preferably, the arrangement of plane-parallel support surfaces formed one above the other is provided. The rock block enables any stacking process with further rock blocks and the plug-in by means of the supporting surfaces mortise and tenon a fixation of neighboring rock blocks to each other. In this way, rocks of any size, height and shape can be erected by simply plugging rock blocks. The rock block in conjunction with neighboring rock blocks also allows tunneling in rock replicas to carry out roadways or rails.

According to a preferred embodiment, one of the two support surfaces has two plug pins or two recesses or recesses formed coaxially to them. The arrangement of two plug pins or indentations or recesses leads on the one hand to a particularly stable construction of rock replicas and on the other hand in the case of staggered contagion of adjacent rock blocks to form tunnels. It is also possible to provide support surfaces on the plastic molded parts next to and above one another.

The invention provides for the molded plastic part to be produced in one piece as a hollow body in a blow mold. The plastic molding thus formed is characterized by a low weight, while the blower inlet serves as a filling opening and detachably receives a closing body. By filling the plastic molded part with a flowable material, e.g. B. sand, there is an opportunity to create weighty rock replicas. The blow inlet is expediently installed in a depression in the molded plastic part.

There is also the possibility of producing the plastic molded part as a hollow body in an injection molding tool or of forming the plastic molded part as a solid body in a tool or a mold. The full body is preferably made of a foamed plastic, for. B. a polyurethane or polystyrene foam or polypropylene.

In order to adapt the external appearance of the rock block to the natural models, it is also intended to form the plastic molded part from a colored material or to apply a color to the outside.

In Fig. 1, a block-shaped rock block 1 is shown, which is formed by a molded plastic part and is arbitrarily irregular and profiled in the surface. The Plastic molded part 1 is made from a colored plastic for the purpose of an appearance corresponding to the natural models or provided with a paint application on the outside. It is made in a blow mold or an injection mold or some other form. 1 has superposed plane-parallel support surfaces 2ʹ and 2ʺ as standing surfaces for themselves or for neighboring rock blocks. In the upper support surface 2ʺ plug-in pins 3 and 3 in the lower support surface 2ʹ coaxially to the plug-in pins 3 or recesses 4 are provided. The recesses 4 are used for the positive, non-positive or frictional engagement of plug pins 3 of adjacent rock blocks.

Die unteren Stützflächen 2ʹ der Kunststofformteile 1 dienen gleichzeitig als Stellflächen.1, the upper support surface 2 beim extends essentially over the entire length and width of the molded body 1 and together carries two plug pins 3, the plastic molded part 1 of FIG. 2 is provided at the top with two independent support surfaces 2ʺ formed next to one another, each of which has a plug 3 separately and independently. The lower support surfaces 2ʹ of the plastic molded parts 1 also serve as shelves.

In Fig. 3 an essentially rod-shaped rock block is shown, which in turn has plane-parallel support surfaces 2ʺ, 2ʹ, of which the upper 2ʺ has a plug 3 and the lower 2ʹ has a recess 4 for receiving plug 3 of adjacent rock blocks.

The plastic molded parts 1 of FIGS. 4 and 5 are produced in a blow mold. The plastic molded parts have bladder inlets 5, which can serve to accommodate a closing body 6 (FIG. 5). The blow inlet 5 of the plastic molding 1 of FIG. 5 is formed in a depression 10 so that the lower support surface 2fläche remains flat even when the closing body 6 is received. It is understood that the plastic molded part 1 of FIG. 4 can be used both as a hollow body and, as shown in FIG. 5, with filler material 7.

Maßgeblich ist die Anordnung von Stützflächen 2ʺ, 2ʹ mit Zapfen 3 und Ausnehmungen 4.Fig. 6 shows a plastic molding 1 made of a foamed plastic, for. B. a polystyrene foam which is formed in a mold. It goes without saying that the design of the plastic molding 1 can be chosen as desired. The arrangement of support surfaces 2ʺ, 2ʹ with pins 3 and recesses 4 is decisive.

In Fig. 7, a number of molded plastic parts serving as rock blocks are put together to form a rock block group. In this case, plastic molded parts 1 of FIGS. 1 and 2 are plugged onto plastic molded parts 1 of FIG. 3 and passages 8 for laying roadways 9 are formed.
