Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a facade panel made of a moldable material with overlapping edge edges and projections and joints formed on the surface, which preferably correspond to a stone wall.
Such facade panels are already known from US-PS 21 31 477. Here, the projections, which are modeled on the shape of stones, lie freely on the base plate of the adjacent plate when the plates are pushed over one another. It can therefore occur that the projections stand out or bend in the event of temperature differences or other stresses and, as a result, give rise to unsightly edges or joints in which dirt or the like can enter. This will cause the panels to become dirty in unusual places. In addition, by bending these projections, penetration of Moisture enters the slab surface, which can damage the house wall.
The invention has for its object to provide a facade panel, in which these disadvantages do not occur and thus a connection of the end edges of the panels takes place in a form-fitting manner.
This object of the invention is achieved in that the front edge of one plate has an undercut at both corner areas and the front edge of the adjacent other plate in the corner areas has recesses aligned with the undercuts and the plate with tongue-like shoulders in between the projections and the base plate elaborated joints take hold.
By this measure, a secure connection of the plates is achieved even if the material for the production of the plates consists of a thermoplastic, so that it is relatively sensitive to heat, but without the molding costs jeopardizing the economics of manufacturing the plates.
Further advantageous embodiments of the plate according to the invention are explained in the subclaims. which involve independent inventive steps.
- Fig. 1 is a perspective view of two plate edges that are to be connected together in
- Fig. 2 shows a section along the line 2 - 2 in Fig. 1 and in
- 3 shows a section along line 3 - 3 in FIG. 1.
In the drawings, two plates to be connected to one another are designated by 1 and 2. The plates consist of a plastic, for example a thermoplastic, and have shaped
The
The
In the lower part of the
In this way, the end faces of the plates are clamped together, so that movements out of the plane of the plates are no longer possible and special fixing from the outside is no longer necessary, but the fixing can be carried out at 20 points indicated at g take place, these attachment points are then overlapped by the plate to be moved and are thus covered against weather influences. The joint-like design can also be clearly seen from FIG. 2 and from FIG. 3 it can be seen that reinforcing
