Abstract

1,080,827. Wall cladding units. G. K. FINDLAY. June 9, 1966 [April 14, 1965], No. 16001/65. Heading E1B. In a wall cladding comprising a number of overlapping units, Fig. 2 -(not shown) each having a panel formed to simulate bricks or stone blocks and a portion offset from the panel as in Specification No. 810,794, an adjustable prefabricated L-shaped corner component is formed by using synthetic rubber or other flexible adhesive material 7 to join two mitred units 3, 4. As shown the edges of the units 3, 4 are mitred at 55 degrees and leave a gap 8 for pointing. The two units 3, 4 are formed from a standard module by cutting away a shaped strip, Figs. 1, 3 (not shown).
