409,229. R÷ntgen-ray apparatus. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN, Emmasingel, Eindhoven, Holland. Nov. 6, 1933, No. 30775. Convention date, Nov. 24, 1932. Addition to 396,803. [Class 39 (i).] In a R÷ntgen-ray installation as claimed in the parent Specification, the condenser supplying the exposure tube is shunted during its discharge, as soon as a sufficient blackening of the photographic plate has been obtained. The shunting preferably occurs 0.1 second, or less, after switching on the anode current, and the current through the tube is preferably interrupted before the potential drop at the condenser exceeds a value of 20 per cent.
