Description
Röntgenanlage für diagnostische Zwecke Wird eine Röntgenanlage, deren Röntgenröhre von einem zuvor aufgeladenen Kondensator gespeist wird, für diagnostische Zwecke verwendet, so bedient man sich hierbei eines Schalters, dessen Betätigungsstrom von einem Verzögerungsrelais geschlossen wird. Es hat sich herausgestellt, daß von der Energie, welche der Kondensator an die Röntg-enröhre liefert, nur der in den ersten Augenblicken wirksame Teil wesentlich für die Bilderzeugung auf der pliotographischen Platte Bedeutung hat, während die Energie, welche verbraucht wird, nachdem die Spannung schon unter einen bestimmten Wert herabgesunken ist, nur äußerst geringe nutzbare Wirkung hat, dagegen die Schärfe des Röntgenbildes ungünstig beeinflußt. Erfmdi.ragsgemäß wird nun das Verzögerungsrelais derart eingestellt, daß der Nebenschluß des Kondensators noch während der Kondensatorentladung geschlossen wird, sobald die die nützliche Schwärzung der photographischen Platte noch wesentlich beeinflussende Energie verbraucht ist. Zweckmäßig werden dieKöntgenstrahlen durch Überbrückung des Kondensators nach o,i Sekunde oder weniger, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,05 und o,i Sekunde, unterbrochen. Die Energie, welche nach der überbrückung des Kondensators in dem Nehenschluß, in Wärme umgesetzt wird, würde, wenn sie allein zur Speisung einer Röntgenröhre -diente, zwar eine Schwärzung der photographischen Platte herbeiführen, vermag je- doch nicht eine bereits hervorgerufene Schwärzung nocli wesentlich zu verstärken. Dies hängt mit dem logarithmischen Verlauf der Schwärzung einer photographischen Schicht in Abhängigkeit von der Belichtungszeit zusammen. Hieraus geht aber hervor, daß diej enigen Teile der photographischen Platte, auf welchen sich in den ersten Augenblicken ein Schatten gebildet hat, von dieser nachgelieferten Energie no#cli sichtbax geschwärzt werden können, wenn inzwischen das Objekt, von dem der Schatten herrührt, sich verschoben hat.
