407,249. Instantaneous steam boilers. SIEMENS - SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT. - GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. Aug. 2, 1933, No. 21750. Convention date, Sept. 21, 1932. [Class 123 (ii).] The boiler described in Specification 398,413 is operated at sub-critical pressure. Evaporation takes place in the convection heat portion of the tubes, and the water heating and steam superheating portions which are heated by radiation are so arranged in the combustion chamber that the ratio of the quantities of heat they absorb remains the same with variations of heat loading. Specification 382,731 also is referred to.
