Abstract
405,364. Water - waste - preventers. ADAMS, A. H., Applegarth, Penshawfield Road, Stocksfield-on-Tyne. Aug. 27, 1932, No. 23993. Addition to 285,201, [Class 26, Closets &c.]. [Class 26.] In flushing-apparatus of the kind described in the parent Specification, an air valve L is disposed in a cage in the container H and at the bottom of a pipe M connecting the container to the suction pipe G. In use water enters the container H through the hole J and when it rises sufficiently to close the valve L on its seating the syphon C is at once discharged and a regulated quantity of water is delivered from the container H. The pipe M may be connected directly with the siphon C.
