Abstract
227,294. Tovey, P. J., and Ewens, T. S. Feb. 6, 1924. Water-waste preventers, disinfecting-apparatus for.-A container A filled with liquid disinfectant is placed on the floor of the flushing cistern. When the cistern is being filled and the water has attained a certain height, water enters a cup-shaped inlet B. When the discharge takes place this water displaces some of the disinfectant which passes along a pipe C into the water in the cistern. Specifications 2626/05 and 130,293 are referred to.
