Abstract

205,272. Husbands, J. A., and Brett, H. A. Aug. 18, 1922. Water-waste preventers, disinfecting-apparatus for.-A sealed float b works in a disinfectant container a, which is placed on the bottom of the flushing cistern. As the cistern fills, the float rises until the mouth of the container is closed by the bulbous bottom of the float. When the cistern is discharged the float falls and displaces some of the disinfectant which mingles with the last portions of the flush water.
