Water-waste preventers, disinfecting-apparatus for.-The outlet valve 17 of a disinfectant container 1 is intermittently opened by the action of projections 31 on a disc 30 against the end 23 of a weighted lever 19. A float 39 is carried by a pivoted frame 33, and a pawl 37 on the latter engages a ratchet wheel 29 driving the disc 30; a retaining pawl 26 is provided.
