Closets, urinals, &c., disinfecting.-An attachment to a flush-pipe comprises a vessel having two compartments; an upper one a<1> for disinfectant and a lower one a<2> to serve as a mixing chamber. When a flush passes, a lever c<1> is turned' on its pivot and lifts a valve D so admitting disinfectant to the chamber a<2>. At the same time, water passes into the chamber a<2> by the opening b. At the end of the flush, the mixture passes into the flush-pipe by way of a passage E.
