Water-waste preventers, disinfecting-apparatus for.-Disinfectant is automatically discharged into the flush-tank towards the end of every flush whereby the closet basin is kept disinfected. Upon release of the pull connection, a spring-actuated piston forces air from the cylinder a into a vessel b, thus causing disinfectant to pass through the pipe J into a tube having a buoyant valve at its lower end whereby the disinfectant is retained until the tank has nearly emptied.
