352,578. Disinfecting-apparatus for water-waste preventers. PARKER, W., 17, South Royd Park, Pudsey, Yorkshire, and BRACE, L., 89, Greenthorpe Road, Bramley, near Leeds. April 23, 1930, No. 12514. [Class 26.] Disinfecting-apparatus for flushing cisterns, comprises a float-actuated tube 5 which moves on the discharge leg of a siphon 4 communicating with a receptacle 2 and which is provided with an aperture 5b disposed so that the discharge of disinfectant commences when the tube 5 is in its lowest position, an annular member 4d which is adjustable on the siphon leg, serving to control the period of discharge. The apparatus is secured in position by means of a bracket 3 secured to the receptacle 2 and passing over the wall x of the cistern, while a member 5a closes the siphon outlet when the tube 5 is in its highest position.
